New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Facility Operations Assistant in New York, New York
Facility Operations Assistants perform a variety of routine unskilled and semi-skilled manual tasks related to the operation and maintenance of state-owned buildings and facilities, surrounding grounds, and vehicles and equipment used in maintaining these sites.
Minimum Qualifications
There are no education or experience qualifications for this class.
Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. When required to operate motor vehicles, incumbents must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.
