Job Description Track and obtain clinical/medical records from the community that are due in the HIMO. File clinical/medical records and maintain inventory of records. Record management including the organizing and safe keeping of clinical/medical records in the HIMO archives. Maintain record of discharges from services. Provide clerical assistance to the Quality Improvement Department. Liaise with DDSOO treatment teams to obtain clinical/medical records. Maintain various tracking systems, including HIMO archived records, HIMO record due dates and record requests. Gather clinical/medical documentation for record requests, litigations, audits and investigations as requested. Additional duties as assigned.
