How will you make an impact in this role?
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented colleague to lead our growing Brand and Reputational Risk team. This role will lead the development and implementation of our reputational risk management program, assisting in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on potential reputational risks. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, analytical, communication, and leadership skills and a proven track record in establishing and executing on risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Research:
Establish processes for monitoring traditional and social media, news outlets, and other relevant sources for potential reputational risks.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging reputational risk issues.
Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive database of reputational risk information.
Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze collected data to identify potential reputational risks and trends.
Own the periodic enterprise risk management reporting and commentary related to key reputational risks and underlying drivers.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations.
Develop risk assessments and subsequent mitigation strategies in conjunction with key partners in Corporate Affairs and Communication.
Support Program Implementation:
Develop and implement reputational risk management policies and procedures, including establishing a sustainable process for testing the compliance of such policies and procedures across the Company.
Maintain internal communication channels related to reputational risk.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including communications, legal, compliance, and operations, to address reputational risk issues.
Lead the team in responding to reputational risk incidents and crises.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of experience in risk management functions.
Experience in risk management frameworks, regulatory landscape, and methodologies.
Experience with risk management principles across various verticals such as reputational risk.
Experience developing Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators to measure risk management outcomes and risk profile.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of relevant experience in reputational risk management or communications.
Familiarity with social media monitoring tools and techniques.
Master's degree in risk management, business administration, communications, public relations, or a related field.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop and mentor a team while working in a matrixed organization with direct interaction with senior risk leadership.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
