Director, USCS Lending & Customer Treatments

The Director of USCS Lending & Customer Treatments is essential to the LFO organization and spearheads senior leadership level analyses focused on key Lending initiatives; Pay Over Time enhancements, APR Pricing strategies, Customer Level Pricing campaign analysis, credit line increase assessments, and Global Limits. Additionally, they provide strategic leadership on profitability assessments, lending economics, investment decisioning, lending portfolio health and monitoring, and P&L management. The Director will also perform ad-hoc analytics to unlock key financial insights helping to deliver on management’s expectations of USCS’s Lending financial and business plans.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and organizational skills, strong quantitative and financial reasoning, clear and compelling communication, strong people leadership, and comfort with ambiguity. The candidate must be able to build solid, trust-based relationships with business partners and senior leaders that encourages candor and direct communication.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team responsible for key Lending initiatives.

  • Oversee deep, data-driven analytical efforts to unlock insights into sources of value creation in both the portfolio and overall business P&L.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with key business partners and senior leaders that encourage open and direct communication and dialogue.

  • Lead, coach, train and develop a team with strong technical, financial and relationship skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic thinker – ability to integrate business strategy, financial thinking, competitive insight, consumer behavior and operational understanding.

  • Excellent quantitative reasoning – ability to think through and drive a conversation using “quick math” in the moment.

  • Very strong data analytics experience and ability to lead a team of data analytics experts to unlock insights.

  • Exceptional relationship and collaboration skills, including the ability to work in a highly matrixed environment across product, marketing, and finance.

  • Exemplary communication skills with the ability to break down complex ideas into understandable/actionable messages and tailor messages to non-technical audiences and senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, disparate workstreams concurrently without sacrificing quality.

  • Leadership experience in a decision-support focused finance role.

  • Track record of effectively coaching and developing colleagues.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree in relevant field preferred.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
