CVS Health Data Scientist in New York, New York
Aetna Resources, LLC, a CVS Health company, ishiring for the following role in New York, NY: Data Scientist to developand implement analytics applications and models to transform datainto meaningful information. Duties include: design and develop datasolutions using industry leading tools, technologies and best practicesto pro le data and develop e cient ingestion by sourcing data fromPBM, Specialty, Retail, and/or HealthCare business; developadvanced algorithms and statistical predictive models to evaluatescenarios, predict outcomes, and provide usable information onhealth metrics and potential future outcomes; utilize data mining, datamodeling, natural language processing, and machine learning toextract and manipulate data from multiple large data sources anddeliver predictive models that inform solutions for in-house teams (i.e.pharmacy pricing, medical costs, risk scores, onboarding) andcustomer engagement across critical journeys (i.e. calories, heartrate, breast cancer, maternity); utilize data-oriented programminglanguages and visualization software to explore, analyze, andinterpret large volumes of data in various forms and solve complexbusiness problems; visualize and interpret data and create reports,manipulate data using statistical software, and compare models usingstatistical performance metrics; and support deployment of insightsacross multiple channels using analysis methods, machine learning,and statistical analyses. Multiple Positions - Requirements: Master’sdegree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science,Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Management Science andEngineering, or a related eld and completion of a university-levelcourse, research project, internship, or thesis; or 6 months ofexperience in each of the following: • Tools to automate CI/CDpipelines: Jenkins, GIT, or Control-M; • Coding in Python, R, SAS, Julia,Gurobi, or CPLEX; • R, Python, or SQL; • Analytics experience withinthe retail and/or healthcare industries; • Machine learning, statisticalanalysis, and predictive modeling; • SAS or SQL programminglanguages; and • Visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau.Apply at http://jobs.cvshealth.com/.
