Position Title: Construction Manager
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Overview: Seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Manager to oversee a wastewater treatment plant project in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment projects, a strong technical background , and the ability to manage on-site construction activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Plan, manage, and oversee the construction of the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
On-Site Supervision: Be present on-site to supervise and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, interpreting plans and specifications, and resolving any technical issues that arise during construction.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant government regulations and legal requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of these regulations.
Team Coordination: Oversee the work of construction representatives and specialists, ensuring effective team coordination and resource allocation.
Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and field personnel, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities through proposals and general contact with current and potential clients.
Administrative Duties: Contribute to the administration and operation of the construction services group, including supervising and coordinating all shop drawing activities
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, specifically with water and wastewater treatment projects or municipal projects
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret technical plans and specifications. Knowledge of relevant government regulations and legal requirements.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/hr.
