Description:
Attend meetings, orientation and trainings as directed by charge nurse and management
Cleaning and tidying of rooms. All these areas and/or items are to be tidy and clean every shift, and labeled as per policy.
Nutrition: Serve meals in a timely fashion. Report to the Charge Nurse any change of dietary intake.
Call Bells: A lighted call bell is a call for help. Answer call bells as soon as observed, regardless of to whom the patient is assigned. Assure patient easy access to the call bell at all times by placing it within reach.
Safety Measures: Assure safety at all times. Practice prevention through observation and correction of environmental problems, and with the proper use of protective devices, as ordered. Emergency, Fire and Disaster procedures as taught.
Report to the Charge Nurse any items to be ordered, repaired, or missing.
Document care given on the appropriate forms during and at the end of each shift.

Schedule:
We will accept only agency staff who can commit to a minimum of 3 days per week with an every other weekend schedule. Weekends are defined as Saturday and Sunday. Exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis .
• Day - 730am-330pm
• Eve - 330pm-1130pm
• Night - 1130pm-730am
First week:
• Day 1 In Classroom 9am to 5pm
• Day 2 In Classroom is 9am to 5pm
• Day 3 In Classroom 9am to 5pm
• and ideally Day 4 starts buddying which is based on the shift they are working
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or its equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant
Computer skills (Microsoft)
