TEKsystems Call Center Representative in New York, New York

Position: Investor Relations Specialist

Location: New York, NY. Position will move to fully remote after onsite training.

Shift(s): Mon-Fri 12:00PM-8:00PM(EST) OR 2:00PM-10:00PM(EST); Occasional Saturdays a must

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Calls: Responsible for making outbound calls to shareholders using a shareholder call list provided.

  • Customer Service: Provide customer service to registered shareholders through inbound and outbound call lists.

  • Shareholder Education: Educate shareholders on various corporate actions, board and shareholder proposals voting options.

  • Issue Tracking: Track and monitor outstanding issues and provide clients with timely updates.

  • Database Logging: Log information into Access Database.

  • Campaign Development: Assist in the development of campaign themes to ensure the proper narrative is being communicated.

  • Call Volume: Fast-paced call center environment where you are expected to make 20-25 calls/hr.

    Qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of customer service-related experience

  • 0-1 years of Experience within finance, business, economics or related highly preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates - Concentrations in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Communications or related

  • Flexible work schedule - Saturday Flexibility is a must.

  • Must have own equipment (See below for more details)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a high call volume environment is preferred but not required

  • Strong communication skills and good phone presence is a must

  • Being able to multitask between inbound and outbound calls

  • Someone who doesn't need to be monitored and can be proactive during slower times

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
