Job Summary
We are seeking a Cloud Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services including AWS Trusted Advisor AWS SSM Amazon S3 Glacier AWS X-Ray AWS CodePipeline AWS Code Deploy AWS CodeCommit AWS CodeBuild Amazon EventBridge AWS Security Hub Amazon Macie Amazon GuardDuty AWS ADFS and AWS Certificate Manager. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Handle and optimize AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain AWS Trusted Advisor to provide real-time mentorship and recommendations.
- Use AWS SSM for automated operational tasks and configuration management.
- Be responsible for the storage and archival of data using Amazon S3 Glacier.
- Supervise and tackle distributed applications with AWS X-Ray.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline CodeDeploy CodeCommit and CodeBuild.
- Integrate and handle event-driven architectures with Amazon EventBridge.
- Ensure security compliance and monitoring with AWS Security Hub Amazon Macie and Amazon GuardDuty.
- Implement and handle AWS ADFS for secure identity federation.
- Handle SSL/TLS certificates with AWS Certificate Manager.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure flawless deployment and integration.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to internal teams on AWS standard processes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features to continuously improve the infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Must have experience with AWS Trusted Advisor AWS SSM Amazon S3 Glacier AWS X-Ray AWS CodePipeline AWS CodeDeploy AWS CodeCommit AWS CodeBuild Amazon EventBridge AWS Security Hub Amazon Macie Amazon GuardDuty AWS ADFS and AWS Certificate Manager.
- Nice to have experience with other AWS services and tools.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must have good communication and partnership skills.
- Must have a shown understanding of cloud security standard processes.
- Must have experience with hybrid work models and day shifts.
Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until April/1/2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 to $123,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
