The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences at the CUIMC in New York, New York

The Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center strives to advance the understanding of HIV infection and toward novel and improved HIV /AIDS treatments and prevention strategies.

We are currently accepting applications for a research-track scientist at the Assistant Professor level in the field of Infectious Diseases. Faculty in this position will hold an appointment in Medicine and will participation in its academic activities. Successful candidates will be team players who excel in highly interdisciplinary environments. The successful candidate is expected to lead and contribute to ongoing projects.


Qualifications

Requires an MD, MD/ PhD, or PhD with significant research training in an appropriate research field, and an outstanding record of research accomplishments, including publications in high quality journals. Applicants will be expected to contribute to ADARC collaborative grant applications and apply for independent research funding.
