Duties: Responsible for defect triage of issues in the application testing environments; deploy code and/or retrofit production code, and support Ansible-based deployment jobs; communicate with clients and consult on design of infrastructure; rebuild servers; work side by side with testers and developers to ensure all are working cohesively; responsible for system patching technical documentation; partner and communicate with internal customers and partner teams; advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve our clients and their evolving business needs; responsible for changes, defects, and projects across various testing and PROD environments; plan, design, and create programs, and document through Agile framework and DevOps using XLR/Ansible; provide application support, ensuring stability for high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications in a production environment; configure and automate application builds; use continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Celestial, Ansible Tower, Digital.ai Release, JFrog Artifactory and Jira for multi-environment structure with high degrees of standardization for both infrastructure and application stack automation; work in an Agile development team to deliver an end-to-end CI/CD product in an open- source environment using tools like Jenkins; build and deploy applications onto designated servers; troubleshoot deployment failures across multiple platforms; use version control tools such as Bitbucket to maintain and configure deployment configurations like releases, environments and server types; utilize Ansible Tower, Digital.ai Release, Celestial, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, Bitbucket, WebSphere, Tomcat, MuleSoft, JBoss, and Shell Scripts to perform duties; coordinate with application support team for any issues during or after the deployment, troubleshooting the issues and providing solutions; provide production support by debugging issues and rectifying them with a solution while not losing essential time during deployments; use Ansible to work with playbook and server configuration and deploy applications onto designated servers; use the Ansible logs to debug any deployment failures and provide a prompt solution to unblock during peak deployment hours; use JFrog Artifactory to track the application builds and migrate the deployment code to designated hosts by using tools like Ansible and Digital.ai Release; use Bitbucket to maintain source code information as well as configuration information; set up different release trains using XL Release, which have the ability to deploy multiple applications onto multiple hosts and data centers, completely automated; configure Jenkins as a CI platform to build and deploy the applications to environments such as Dev, QA, UAT and Production Linux environment; and collaborate with developers to create Jenkins builds, configure deployment variables and servers, and test in lower level environments before promoting them to higher level environments.

Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

Salary: $147,680 per year (standard benefits apply);

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a DevOps Engineer, as a Software Developer, as a Software Engineer, as a Systems Architect, as a Systems Engineer, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: Ansible Tower, Digital.ai Release, Celestial, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, Bitbucket, WebSphere, Tomcat, MuleSoft, JBoss, and Shell Scripts.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

First Installment: $500.00 when the candidate begins an assignment through Genesis10 at our client

Second Installment
: $500.00 after the candidate has been on assignment for a minimum period of 6 months.
