Aston Carter 100% Remote SAP Finance Transformation SME in New York, New York

Aston Carter is seeking a REMOTE SAP Consultant with Insurance/Reinsurance industry and S4/Hana implementation experience for a client based in New York. Candidates can sit anywhere in the US, must be eligible to work in the US.

Description:

  • Leads the finance SAP solution design, build and implementation, this includes requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution.

  • Analyze existing business processes across the organization and utilize existing knowledge of SAP solutions that would support those processes to design solutions with user experience in mind and create mockups or prototypes to assist with development.

  • Subject matter expert who understands the business needs and either configures system to match needs or translates them into requirements.

  • Assist in coordination and consolidation of issue handling, analyzing, and tracking.

  • Provide expertise in the critical systems / applications used in the product area to leverage all the features available.

  • Key team member as part of future exploratory work for SAP S/4 i.e. analyze, and continuously improve business processes and applications in the Finance Record to Report (RTR) area.

  • Perform other ad hoc finance tasks as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • University degree with a focus on Accounting or Finance required.

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years Insurance/Reinsurance post qualification experience required (CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent).

  • 5+ years SAP S/4 HANA technical product working knowledge of SAP Core and related solutions ecosystem. Business process re-engineering and optimization, master data management, configuration, testing and validation.

  • Successfully led 2+ SAP full cycle implementations including: scoping, planning, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, and Post Go-Live support.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving skills and strong expertise to make strategic recommendations for process improvements and providing solutions to improve efficiencies.

  • Decision maker with ability to collect, organize and evaluate data to provide possible solutions, ability to communicate and work effectively with others.

  • Experience in Genius, Premium Systems, Webshore, and/or High Radius ( Any of these are a major plus).

  • SME/Project Manager will be the main point person on implementing automated system payment processing, collections, and cash applications.

  • Identify areas to automate and work more efficiently.

  • Understand work streams and enhance to make more automated.

  • SAP / S4Hanna / FSCD Module.
