The Role

The Manager/Sr. Manager, Facilities & Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairs of all stores across the Leap platform. This position is highly cross-functional, working with store teams, contractors, vendors and internal partners to ensure all stores are maintained to the highest standards, while optimizing cost, efficiency and speed.

 

 

Role Location

This New York City–based role requires in-office presence 2–3 days per week at our Tribeca location .

 

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Maintenance 

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all retail stores by creating a national vendor network to ensure all brand and operational standards are met

  • Onboard a national vendor network and manage all corresponding tools 

  • Direct the Facilities & Maintenance strategy to identify and prioritize projects and goals that support overall company goals

  • Develop, implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs to avoid emergency issues, where possible

  • Resolve maintenance issues with an emphasis on fast resolution and minimal business interruption 

  • Support all retail teams in addressing operational challenges related to facilities & maintenance

  • Responsible for internal communication, timeline and updates related to ongoing maintenance projects 

  • Track all local health, safety and building code regulations to ensure compliance across all states

  • Maintain records of inspections, permits and compliance 

     

    Vendor & Budget Management 

  • Work with vendors and service providers ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality or service

  • Manage the $.5M facilities budget through expense tracking, project management and clear communication with internal and external partners

  • Track vendor compliance and quality through clear SLAs

  • Develops and executes a communication strategy for all operational tasks 

     

    Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Platform Operations, Store Development, Visual Merchandising and IT teams to ensure all stores are operationally excellent

  • Support retail leadership through creation and review of ongoing maintenance audits

  • Create and communicate SLAs for all issue types and resolution timelines

  • Clearly communicate updates on maintenance projects, including budget approvals, alignment and timeline 

    Salary Range Transparency

    A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $100,000-$126,000. All corporate roles are eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level and experience.
