Google Foundry Process Control and Yield Engineer, Custom Silicon in New Taipei City, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in program management.

  • 8 years of experience as a Semiconductor Process/Yield /Test Engineer, or in a related role in the area of Semiconductor Manufacturing and testing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or Phd in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Material Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and testing and working as a Semiconductor Process Integration/Device/Yield/Testing Engineer.

  • Experience in data analysis using semiconductor production data.

  • Experience in advanced node semiconductor chip fabrication and productization such as FINFET and GAA transistor.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, with the ability to communicate with executives.

  • Knowledge of System on a Chip (SoC) and Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) productization.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

  • Drive inline process, electrical parameters enhancement, yield monitor and yield improvement, excursion management and failure analysis (e.g. EDS, ATE and SLT Yield) in the area of custom silicon Wafer and Package level Yield target definition.

  • Drive cross-functional efforts for Technology and operational readiness during New Product Introduction (NPI).

  • Drive and resolve technical and operational issues of material, process, hardware fixtures, and test equipment to enable delivery of the product and manufacturing process during NPI into Mass Production.

  • Lead early production site qualifications for NPI. Lead Yield and process improvements, development and validation CIP.

  • Analyze excursion/gap root cause. Lead suppliers to establish and validate process capability and performance metrics (using statistical tools and techniques) for consistently delivering High quality products and for Excursion management.
