Google Bluetooth Engineering Manager, Wireless Connectivity, Google Pixel in New Taipei City, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in embedded systems.

  • 7 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, Rust), and 5 years of experience in a People Leadership role.

  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support cross-team collaboration with regional and global teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in the Bluetooth field

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with application software development, and Python/Shell script.

We work on building the next generation Google Pixel products and Bluetooth features to contribute them to the Pixel ecosystem.

In this role, you will be involved in Bluetooth software/firmware functionality and creating the good performance and features on Google Pixel series products. You will help architect new hardware platforms, design cool new features, and ship high-volume consumer devices.

  • Lead the Engineering team to design and maintain Wear platform features for Pixel Watch devices.

  • Lead team to bring up a variety of SoCs (working with chipset vendors).

  • Lead the collaboration with cross-functional teams for Bluetooth related features.

  • Scope, plan, and oversee the execution of engineering projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.

  • Propose long-term strategy for Bluetooth performance, power, and stability improvements.
