Krewe Recruiting Coordinator in New Orleans, Louisiana

KREWE  is seeking  a Recruiting Coordinator , reporting to the Director of People & Projects, to support recruiting activities and operations.  Our ideal candidate is highly organized, a master of prioritization and is able to shift gears at a moment’s notice. RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Understand business needs to target, attract, engage and develop relationships with passive and active candidates in our key markets. 

  • Support the HQ Talent Acquisition function by partnering to r ecruit, screen, and recommend candidates for next steps in the interview process.

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels to build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for projected and future hiring needs, ensuring that the pipeline is filled with strong, suitable candidates. 

  • Maintain rigor in selection and assessment practices ensuring that appropriate tools are used to support the hiring decision making process, and skills development takes place as needed with hiring managers and interviewers.

  • Coordinate, plan, and monitor open positions in partnership with hiring managers for an excellent experience for both the hiring manager, as well as successful and unsuccessful candidates. 

  • Coordinate work cross-functionally and share candidates and market intelligence with recruiting colleagues where a potential fit exists. 

  • Ensure adherence to Talent Acquisition and related Human Resources policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Comply with internal policy and local employment legislation relevant to recruiting activities. 

    REQUIREMENTS : 

  • Work location and headquarters: New Orleans 

  • 1-3  years proven full-cycle, corporate recruiting experience successfully executing a variety of searches. 

  • Bachelors’ degree in a relevant program.

  • Solid track record in delivering specialist / niche hiring within a corporate environment. 

  • Experience recruiting for professional services with an understanding of fashion/ accessories.

  • Knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting policies, practices, and trends, and sourcing strategies. Advanced internet research experience and experience using social media, AI tools and networking to engage and maintain candidate pools. 

  • Ability and desire to work in an ever changing and sometimes ambiguous environment. 

  • Strong relationship building skills; ability to develop trusted adviser relationships at a senior level, internally and with candidates; excellent stakeholder management skills, 

  • Experience with comprehensive Applicant Tracking Systems and/or Recruiting CRM systems (Jazz HR) and the reporting of KPI measures and metrics including Excel pivot tables and charts with excellent attention to detail. 

  • Excellent organization, time management, verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality and good professional judgment 

  • Proven ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced work environment, as well as to work under pressure efficiently with rapidly changing priorities
