Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is working with our client in Lake Success, NY to hire a Medical Assistant for their facility.

Type: Three month contract, possibility of extension
Pay: $22.00 - $24.65/hour
Shift : Fulltime Monday to Friday 7:00a - 5p - start/end will vary and is based on Provider schedule
Responsibilities Include:
Work with the provider in exam rooms - assist with procedures and office notes
Clean exam rooms after each patient and prep for next patient
Room patients - take histories/chief complaint and prep for provider
Clean/Autoclave instruments
Assist with medications and pharmacy prior authorizations
Requirements Include:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
Medical Assistant Experience
EMR/Epic knowledge
Immunizations/vaccinations required: MMR, TB Screening, Varicella, Hep B, Flu shot, Tdap, Covid 19 vaccination
