Power-Flo Technologies Boiler Controls Installation Technician in New Hyde Park, New York
US Energy Group, a well established building control system business is actively seeking a full-time Boiler Controls Installation Technician. Responsibilities Include:
on-site installations
on-site troubleshooting controller boxes
internet configuration
product support
customer relations
New job specific skills will be taught with on-the-job experience
The customers we support include large and small commercial facilities, hotels, hospitals, multi-family residential, schools and many others. Work is primarily in the NYC Metropolitan area and we are actively developing customers in other cities.
Qualifications:
Boiler experience required
The desire to learn and develop a deep knowledge of Building Automation Systems using advanced products of a major automation system manufacturer
The desire for continued career development, product knowledge, varied industry experience
Good communication and customer relationship skills
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Ability to work on a team under the direction of senior engineers and managers
A valid and clean NYS driver's license to drive company vehicles
OSHA 30 or 40 training a plus
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time
Salary Range $16 - $20/hour
