Responsibilities * Perform general accounting and clerical functions to support management * Research, track, and resolve accounting problems * Reconcile benefit statements to payroll report * Daily bank reconciliation * Process invoices and payments * Prepare finance product cancellations for submission to vendor * Issue checks to customers/lienholders for cancellations * Prepare accounts for payments and verify data in system * Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent; Associate of Bachelor's degree preferred * Excellent communication skills (via phone, Zoom, in-person, etc.) * Strong attention to detail * The ability to learn new software systems * Automotive dealership experience a plus * Maintain a professional appearance at all times * Working knowledge of Excel, MS office suite and accurate with 10 key pad and typing * Able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule * Basic working knowledge of accounting * Must be willing to submit to & successfully complete a background check/driving record check and a drug screen We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
