Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with experience in rotary wing aircraft for an indefinite contract position, with the potential to convert to direct hire. The role involves performing repairs and installations on LUH-72 and EC-145 aircraft. The ideal candidate will have experience with LUH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 models, although this is not a strict requirement.
Responsibilities
Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
Work from three-dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation.
Conduct functional checks of systems for proper function.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctions or failures on systems such as aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant, and engine controls.
Diagnose the cause of malfunctions, identify failures, and determine corrective action to restore systems to required operating specifications and standards.
Essential Skills
Must have A&P License
6+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
Experience with rotary wing aircraft such as LUH-72, EC-145, EC-135, BK-117, AS350, UH-72, Part 121, and Part 145.

Work Environment
The position operates in a hangar/OEM environment, primarily on the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday. There may be opportunities for additional hours on Fridays and Saturdays, with current contractors averaging 45-50 hours per week.

This is a Contract position based out of COLUMBUS, Mississippi.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $43.75/hr.
