This position primarily deal

with industrial linkage assemblies. This position will work directly with customers, suppliers and other departments to provide timely solutions to customers

needs.

Specific duties entail:

1.

Developing designs based upon interpretation of customer specifications, drawings and requirements;

2.

Verifying the appropriate Cablecraft standards, practices and designs have been employed to meet the customer applications and needs;

3.

Using technical knowledge along with strong communications skills to provide advice and support on a range of cable and related products;

4.

Developing peer-to-peer relationships that create and foster an environment of being the "Go-To" source of technical information;

5.

Designing components and assemblies with consideration of the limitations of materials, equipment and process capability, practicality, regulation, safety, and cost;

6.

Transitioning products throughout their lifecycle to assure maximum longevity and profitability;

7.

Implementing continuous design improvements with the development of new materials and manufacturing capabilities;

8.

Developing new technological solutions, conceptual and detailed designs and employing those to create the documents necessary for prototyping, testing, and production;

9.

Performing design validation and verification testing;

10.

Writing technical volumes and support materials.

Requires:

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field.
