Mountaineer Casino Resort PAINTER - LEAD in New Cumberland, West Virginia
Responsible for designing, preparing, painting, wallpapering and staining the interior & exterior surfaces of the Hotel, Lodge, Trackside, Casino, Facilities, Jockey's Dorm, Rec Hall, and Golf Course. Manages all inventory for the Paint Shop and coordinates/calculates all painting activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delegate and prioritize tasks daily to the painter and insures completion of tasks.
- Upkeep of the property, to include repairing damaged walls and surfaces.
- The ability to calculate to amount of materials needed for projects.
- The ability to match the existing paint colors and wallpaper.
- Knowledge of proper techniques to prepare paint, stain and/or wallpaper on all surfaces.
- Ability to finish drywall.
- Ability to apply an appropriate type of paint, stain or wallpaper for a project.
- Coordinate all work requests and schedules with the property.
- Assist other Team Members with duties.
All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Lodgeside Facilities Manager then to the Director of Property Maintenance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.

``` - Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment for the task. - Ability to recognize/remedy safety concerns and utilize all personal protective equipment as required. - Time management & priority setting and work independently. - Troubleshooting & problem solving - Knowledge of OSHA required standards. - Life safety equipment and systems - Knowledge on how to but not limited to the operation of ladders, hand/power tools, etc. - You must be at least 21 years old - Obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under Mountaineer Casino Insurance for driving our vehicles.
You must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of Painting experience.
REASONING ABILITY
The ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- You will need to be able Sitting/Standing, Lifting, Kneeling, Bending, Walking/Stretching, Pushing/Pulling, Climbing/Reaching for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
