Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are currently seeking mechanically inclined individuals with basic electrical understanding for immediate openings in our maintenance department. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our Tier 1 Honda Supplier facility. The role involves tackling urgent matters and keeping production lines running, with approximately 95% of your role dedicated to resolving immediate issues. You will be responsible for addressing any mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems within the facility, working with robotic welders, tube benders, and other machinery. You will also be expected to perform simple troubleshooting of electrical cabinets using a volt meter and replace components such as motors, rollers, chain conveyors, photo eyes, and proxy switches. Candidates must be able to read Ladder Logic and make slight modifications.
Responsibilities
Address mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems within the facility.
Work with robotic welders, tube benders, and other machinery.
Perform simple troubleshooting of electrical cabinets using a volt meter.
Replace components such as motors, rollers, chain conveyors, photo eyes, and proxy switches.
Read and make slight modifications to Ladder Logic.
Ensure the continuous operation of production lines by resolving urgent matters.
Essential Skills
Industrial Maintenance Experience (1+ years) OR Military Maintenance Experience
Hydraulic experience
Pneumatic experience
Basic electrical troubleshooting (up to 24 Volts)
Ability to read a meter
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC troubleshooting (preferred)
Just-in-time delivery experience in an automotive environment (preferred)
Problem-solving skills
Urgency in task execution
Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends
Work Environment
This position is within an automotive seat manufacturing facility, boasting over 15 production lines operated by robotic welders. With 597 employees working across three shifts, we currently have two openings for the 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am). The role may require flexibility to work on weekends and up to 60 hours per week. The facility operates in a high-pressure, just-in-time environment, where products are delivered to Honda within 6 hours of production. The work involves routine tasks such as replacing cylinders, airlines, and motors, as well as more challenging tasks like fabrication and electrical troubleshooting of PLCs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54870.00 - $71760.00/yr.
