Title: Administrative Assistant (ADA Accommodations)
Pay rate: $19.50/hr
Duration: 3 months, temp to perm (client is looking to hire the right candidate permanent asap)
Hours: Monday through Friday (12:30 pm - 4:30 pm)
Location: Onsite in New Brunswick (no remote work is available for this position)
This position will assist all administrators, as needed, in fulfilling or coordinating approved accommodations.
Assists students who are seeking evaluations for documenting a disability.
Assists with the registration process.
Assists with the distribution of Letters of Accommodation.
Assists with the maintenance of inquiry tracking and enters data into the database.
Answers or provides direction to general questions and inquiries about services, via phone, email, or in-person and ensures all interactions are logged in the database in a timely manner.
Coordinates with other departments (like HR, business partners, IT, or facilities management) to ensure smooth operations and communication across teams.
Collects and distributes mail.
Greet visitors who come in person to the office.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Dependable and reliable
Organized individual with good communication skills
Computer savvy
Working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act or prior work with individuals with disabilities, preferred.
Pay Details: $19.50 per hour
