Posting Summary | The successful candidate will be working closely and advising the School of Engineering (SOE) on all transportation planning, engineering, and workforce training matters. He/she will collaborate with the various SOE units, and specifically with the Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT), to advance SOE's transportation portfolio. Research, education, and workforce training in transportation are the cornerstone of the school's overall portfolio and a key component of its strategic focus. Since 1998, SOE, through CAIT, has become a national leader in the field and a hub for transportation-related activities at local, regional, and national levels. SOE and CAIT are searching for a candidate with unique and extensive knowledge & experience that will significantly enhance SOE's reach and position among state and national stakeholders, open new doors, and provide direction and opportunities for SOE and Rutgers to reach a national leadership position. |
