Job Description
::: {itemprop="responsibilities"} The Inventory Analyst is a member of the Global Inventory Team, supporting Moen in the Water Innovation business unit. In this position, you will be playing a critical role in managing and optimizing inventory throughout the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of inventory management practices, and the ability to forecast supply and demand to ensure optimal stock levels. The key performance metrics in this role will center around the balance of customer service levels and inventory productivity for Fortune Brands Innovations (FBIN).
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of either the Deerfield, IL or New Bern, NC office.
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
- Analyze inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder levels. This includes maintaining the process, validating data, identifying data issues, and performing analyses to optimize service/inventory productivity.
- Support cross-functional teams on questions related to reorder levels. Seek feedback from planners on changes.
- Develop and automate reports to support robust processes, troubleshoot problems and develop solutions.
- Review service performance and inventory levels required to deliver Quantity-On-Time. Make recommendations for improvement and work with the appropriate cross-functional teams to ensure metrics are achieved.
- Continuously model excess inventory to determine and eliminate root causes.
- Perform material master governance over key fields that impact planning processes through regular audits for accuracy and to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and present inventory reports, data, and analysis to management.
- Support new supply chain initiatives as needed by running simulations, determining methods to execute, and implementing the inventory changes.
- Provide analytical support for life cycle modeling including new product introduction and End of Life. Support projects to smoothly transition to the new product and minimize obsolete material. Work with project teams as necessary to execute the planned transition on time.

Qualifications
::: {itemprop="qualifications"} - A Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations, Business, or a related field. - Proven experience as an inventory analyst or in a similar role such as supply chain operations or demand/supply/material planning. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assist with process design and redesign. - Skilled in data consolidation, analysis and tools such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to establish cross functional relationships.
PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS:
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Certification in inventory management or supply chain management
- Knowledge of Orchestr8 (O8) D mand Driven Planning System and/or DDMRP. ::: :::
