ADVANCED IONICS Advanced Mechanical Assembly Technician in NEW BERLIN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our mission is to decarbonize the \"hard-to-abate\" heavy industrial sectors of the world economy with a new class of electrolyzers. Advanced Ionics is seeking a highly motivated technician to join our growing team that is dedicated to developing transformational \"green hydrogen\" industrial electrolyzer systems. As an assembly technician, you are responsible for building, debugging, and validating complex test stations and electrolyzers. The electrolyzers are steam fed, high electrical current units to produce hydrogen. As such you will install steam and gas tubing, and electrical controls for controlling chemical flow, data collection, and thermal management. What You\'ll Do Following CAD drawings, you will assemble frames, route tubing and electrical wiring. You will wire control cabinets following electrical schematics. You will debug and validate the test stands and their components, and record results. We\'re looking forward to hearing from you! ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: What You\'ve Done to Get Here: You have an Associates degree with 5 years of experience. You have experience troubleshooting and fixing mechanical systems, including pumps, heat-exchangers, furnaces, regulators & pneumatics, among others. You have analytical skills to understand blueprints, models, and specifications for parts and assemblies. You have experience with computer applications, including basic control systems such as pressure or flow control. You can fabricate and assemble complex parts, jigs and test system components. You have a proven ability to suggest alternative, cost-effective solutions. You have a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. You have experience in scientific equipment/component manufacturing (preferred) You are results-oriented and can work independently.
