GMR Marketing Account Supervisor in New Berlin, Wisconsin

The Account Supervisor position will oversee the day-to-day management of national and regional sponsorship programs on behalf of one of the nation’s largest financial institutions. Experience in creating innovative event solutions, event management, activation, operations and execution is a must.


  • Maximize the value of sponsorship assets across a variety of marketing disciplines including brand, content, social media and experiential marketing activities

  • Work with multiple client stakeholders, vendors and partners on the development and execution of sponsorship activations

  • Create and maintain strategic and administrative documents for client reports and presentations including; proposals, point of views, recaps, reports, agendas, and timelines

  • Manage program budgets to achieve client needs and remain on targeted budget

  • Develop a solid understanding of client objectives, how to achieve them and what data/measurement is important to demonstrate attainment of those objectives - build and manage program measurement systems to capture and analyze relevant data

  • Develop staff plans, staff training plans, and transition plans for staff members hired on a program basis

  • Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, payments, and oversight of their deliverables and quality of work

  • Identify and problem-solve program challenges and consult with senior management with solutions

  • Excellent time-management skills, organizational and leadership skills; experience in client management is a plus

  • Monitor progress of all projects and recommend adjustments in a timely manner

  • Ability to travel for business which could include trips of more than 5 days in duration and weekends


  • Strategic and creative thinker with a proven history managing national sports and/or entertainment partnerships

  • Well-developed project management skills across various disciplines including creative, digital, ideation, measurement and research

  • Demonstrate a history of creative thinking and autonomous work. Comfortable with solving problems and determining action plans independently

  • Understanding of and a passion for emerging technologies including social media usage

  • Familiarity with sponsorship negotiation and activation. Comfortable providing thought leadership in consulting situations.

  • Experience managing teams, which can include field staff, field managers, vendors, agency peers, internal teams and / or clients

  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and management skills

  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline driven environment

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters Degree in Business, Sport Management or Marketing preferred bonus

  • 5-7 years of relatable experience required

  • Sponsorship management experience of top tier national properties highly desirable

  • Agency experience desirable
