Patient Documentation: Recording care activities, food and fluid intake, and any changes in patient condition. Communication: Communicating patient needs and observations to nurses and other healthcare professionals. Emotional Support: Providing comfort and reassurance to patients and their families. Infection Control: Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment and adhering to infection control protocols. Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Helping patients with tasks like bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Basic Medical Tasks: Assisting with medication administration (in some states), wound care, and catheter care. Patient Transport: Assisting with patient transfers between beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
