JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Corrections Deputy is under the general supervision of the Clark County Sheriff, Chief Deputy, Corrections Captain and Sergeant. This position provides enforcement of federal, state and local laws and ordinances regarding jail/correctional policies, procedures, rules and regulation for the security and order of inmates in a jail/correctional facility. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A High School Diploma or GED certificate is required upon hire. Applicants are required to obtain the Jail Officer Certification within two years of employment.
