job summary:
A great client is seeking a Master 3D CAD Drafter to help support our client's client. The role requires the creation and modification of detailed 3D models for consumer packaged goods. Candidate must have 5 years of experience with Solidworks and advanced surface modeling skills. Ideal candidates will have previous experience with consumer packaged goods and electronics packaging.

responsibilities:
Generate 3D models based on sketches or physical products
Modify models from imported STP files
Output prototype-ready designs for 3D print/machining
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience with Solidworks (2019)
Advance surface modeling skills
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality
Previous experience with consumer packaged goods
Electronics packaging
Plastics design including the design of injection molded parts
A-class surfaces
