We are a global organization with offices across three regions: Americas, EMEA and APAC.

The Hardware Designer Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining marine electronics by documenting their findings, recommendations, schematics, and analyses, as well as their proposals.

Providing engineering support to the manufacturing of existing assigned products. You will carry out activities that require a good knowledge and management of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures around design.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with the safety and hygiene standards established by the company, participate in the detection of unsafe conditions to avoid occupational hazards, and participate in activities aimed at protecting the environment.

  • Follow the instructions set forth in the quality management system related to your work.

  • It will design analog and digital circuitry, high- and low-speed card design.

  • Create circuit synthesis, simulation, prototyping, and analysis.

  • Develop schematic and design specifications.

  • Review printed circuit boards and analyze them.

  • Perform component testing as well as product validation (DFM, DFT)

  • Develop product testing strategy.

  • Review Signal Integrity issues and certification standards.

  • Select critical components and their design.

  • Perform proper approval and documentation of selected components.

  • You will create a list of product components, as well as their maintenance in the system.

  • Identify and manage hardware-related risks that impact on-time operation, cost, and on-time delivery.

  • Document technical data and Reports.

  • It will be coordinated with production and test engineering for a proper introduction of the product.

  • You will interact with engineers from other areas as support engineers for product troubleshooting (internal or external).

Minimum Education:

University Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar.

Formation:

Management of CAD and MS Office.

Management of Hardware Development Tools.

Experience:

Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar position.
