Naval Facilities Engineering Command LEAD REALTY SPECIALIST in Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida

Summary You will serve as a Lead Realty Specialist in the Public Works Directorate (PW) Community located within the PW4 Product Line of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE. Responsibilities You will analyze proposed real estate acquisition with respect to legality, cost, and effectiveness in satisfying an organization's needs. You will advise clients on real estate disposal procedures. You will administer in grants and out granting of urban and rural military real property for multiple organizations. You will guide personnel on real estate principles, practices, methods, or techniques. You will monitor real estate project status in progress to ensure instructions and policies have been met. You will coordinate with realty team members to verify schedules, cost estimates, and strategies are accurate and executable. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:1) Utilizing real estate principles, practices, markets and values and applying the techniques, principles and methods applicable to real estate agreements; 2) Applying Federal, DOD, and Navy laws, regulations, and policies governing realestate transactions within the United States; 3) Applying contracting methods/procedures pertaining to the full scope of real estate transactions, and provide on the spot guidance in complex situations; 4) Reviewing realty transactions and conveyances and evaluating the effect of various methods of acquisition or disposal upon the uses and value of land; 5) Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to other Realty Specialists; and 6) Leading multi-functional teams as project manager as scope is identified and executed.
