Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs all RN/LPN tele-triage functions. Provides leadership to an assigned group of RNs/LPNs across the enterprise. Functions as an immediately available clinical resource on assigned shift.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilizes clinical expertise and approved protocols to provide health advice to consumers with clinical questions and makes referrals for health services as appropriate via telephone.
Ensures performance standards are met.
Manages staff performance by providing immediate feedback, routine 1:1 coaching sessions and corrective action as necessary.
Conducts routinely scheduled team meetings.
Performs annual performance reviews.
Functions as an immediately available resource for all staff questions and concerns.
Performs call reviews to assure staff competency, adherence to SOPs and processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
RN License
2-3 years telephone triage experience preferred
2 years nursing leadership preferred
