Drive the modernization of Operations Technology Solutions - Supply Chain as you architect a scalable, cloud-native platform. As Systems Engineering Manager, you'll lead a talented team building intelligent supply chain orchestration, automated operations, and AI-powered customer experiences leveraging AWS technologies.

Key job responsibilities

  • The Systems Engineering Manager will lead the technical transformation of OTS-SC's supply chain technology architecture.

  • This leader will drive the overall technical vision and execution while managing a diverse team of TPMs, PMTs, Solution Architects, and Development teams. They will be responsible for delivering a modern, scalable architecture that improves On Time In Full (OTIF) performance, reduces excess inventory, and achieves significant cost avoidance.

  • The role requires balancing strategic architectural decisions with tactical delivery needs while ensuring high standards of technical excellence across all teams.

About the team

The Systems Engineering team within OTS - Global Portfolio Strategy is at the forefront of modernizing the supply chain technology ecosystem. As a key part of this strategic initiative, you'll be leading a diverse group of technical experts in architecting and building a scalable, cloud-native platform. Together, you'll drive intelligent supply chain orchestration, automated operations, and enhanced customer experiences leveraging the latest AWS services and AI/ML capabilities. The team culture values innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession as you transform legacy systems to support Amazon's global operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8+ years of technical leadership experience

  • Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture

  • Proficiency with AWS services and modern development practices

  • Track record of leading large-scale technology transformations

  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams

  • Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain systems and operations

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Proven ability to drive technical strategy and execution

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

  • Background in machine learning and AI-powered solutions

  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems and integration patterns

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $258,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
