Job Summary and Qualifications

The Revenue Recovery Senior Manager will support the Revenue Analytics team in ensuring revenue and rebate completeness and accuracy. This role will manage the Revenue Recovery Team in identifying and recovering unpaid fees and rebates from suppliers, identifying process improvement/contract clarification opportunities, and providing reporting as necessary to various teams including sourcing, account team, audit, and finance.

What you will do in this role:

  • Manages Revenue Recovery team members, priorities, and deadlines to assist with timely supplier resolution.

  • Assists Data Analysts with automating and standardizing exception based reporting to drive revenue recovery.

  • Performs high-level analytical reviews of recovery opportunities to determine root causes and potential process issues.

  • Researches and interprets complex contract language to accurately recalculate expected fees and rebate payments.

  • Manages the past due payment collection process by prioritizing opportunities and assists the team with escalation of payment issues as considered necessary.

  • Facilitates communication between Account Management, Sourcing, and Suppliers to resolve payment issues.

  • Provides regular updates and reporting to management and other internal stakeholders related to recovery review progress.

  • Routinely works with Fee Processing to prioritize and resolve payments with reporting issues.

  • Collaborates with other internal teams to maintain an understanding of data availability and ongoing data acquisition initiatives.

  • Works with other stakeholders to ensure data quality related to expected fee and rebates, as well as spend data quality provided by suppliers and members.

  • Prepares and reviews routine and adhoc detailed analytical reviews and reports using Power BI, Excel, and other query tools.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and process analysis skills are required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

  • Strong critical thinking skills are necessary to interpret results and gaps in data

  • Proficiency in multiple technologies included but not limited to Microsoft Office, Power BI, Microstrategy, SQL/Teradata and other dashboard/analytical tools

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting/Audit

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience working with large datasets and 2 years’ management experience required

  • CPA preferred.
