Amazon Program Manager I, DSP Performance Operations in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

DSP Performance Operations team manages multiple programs in support of the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) org. These programs focus on continuous improvement around safety and customer trust while Amazon drivers are delivering packages each day. The DSP Performance Program Manager I is an integral part of our operations team.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable deep diving and synthesizing large set of data in order to make data driven and prudent business decisions. The candidate will partner with Operations, Program Stakeholders, and other support teams to build and support the DSP Performance Operations. We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a proven track record in delivering results by insisting on the highest standards in an ambiguous and high-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Analyze and leverage data to draw key business insights and recommend goals and roadmaps

  • Clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing, to drive buy-in and adoption across a diverse group of stakeholders

  • Effectively manage, root cause, and solve for critical escalations independently

  • Drive solutions to ambiguous and complex issues at an operational level

  • Operate and deliver in a fast-paced environment

A day in the life

  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations and scaling factors

  • Partner with internal/external teams to determine what projects are prioritized

  • Identify and escalate gaps between teams, processes and systems

  • Work with program managers and operations leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives

  • Create, communicate, and manage timelines for key deliverables

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SQL

  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
