Our IT Operations/Cloud Infrastructure team is looking for a IT Operations Manager. The IT Operations Manager will have the opportunity to work remotely from within the United States.
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth IT operations, and providing technical expertise in the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft O365 and Azure services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, system monitoring, operations, automation, and performance optimization.
As an IT Operations Manager, you will:
Microsoft 365 Administration:
Administer and support the deployment, configuration, and management of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 applications.
Perform user and license management through Microsoft 365 Admin Center, ensuring proper access and configurations.
Ensure the seamless operation of collaboration and communication platforms (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).
IT Operations & Incident Management :
Proactively monitor and manage the operational health of network infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for high-risk issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and implement incident response plans for cloud outages or disruptions.
Perform routine health checks, system maintenance, and upgrades on infrastructure.
Lead Infrastructure and Operations projects from the initiation phase to close out.
Automation & Optimization :
Build automation scripts and tools (using PowerShell, ARM Templates, Azure CLI, etc.) to streamline cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
Automate manual IT operational tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and minimize human error.
Manage the Intune deployment environment, optimizing for efficiency and ease of process
Security & Compliance :
Implement best practices for cloud security working directly with the Information Security Team for requirements, including identity and access management, data encryption, and Defender for Cloud.
Collaboration & Documentation :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Cloud, Helpdesk Security, etc.) to support overall IT and business objectives.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and departments regarding cloud infrastructure and IT operations.
Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
What you bring to the role:
Strong experience with Microsoft O365 and Azure services.
Experience with cloud monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights).
Knowledge of operational network requirements (routers, firewalls, switches)
Demonstrated experience in IT operations management, including incident management, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to design, implement, and manage large-scale infrastructure environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
6+ years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting Microsoft environments, with a focus on IT operations management.

The salary range for this position is included below. Pay Range:
$86,350 to $130,000
