Amazon Finance Manager, Amazon PARP (Pick-up & Return Points) in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

Amazon Pick-up & Return Points seeks an experienced Finance Manager to join its fast growing business. The Finance Manager will work closely with the finance and business teams by supporting the business unit in achieving its long-term growth and profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will combine financial and business acumen with strong analytical skills.

Key job responsibilities

  • Providing analytical support to the Locker & Pick-up Points business in understanding the optimal network scale and drivers of customer adoption, as well as working on profitability initiatives to increase savings to Amazon

  • Building and managing the reporting process to support the business decision making from a worldwide and regional level as well as simplifying, improving and scaling existing processes and tools across countries

  • Managing the business planning process for the business unit and the alignment with different stakeholders across finance and business teams

  • Performing month end closing, reporting and highlighting required business interventions

  • Supporting financial evaluation of key projects and expansions, providing both commercial and financial assessment of plans

Basic Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)

  • 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

  • MBA, or CPA

  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
