Be a part of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Data Center Supplier Management Business Services, and Sourcing team. We are combining the elasticity and utility of cloud services with the granular control, security, and predictability of on-premises infrastructure to deliver high-performance, high availability, and cost-effective infrastructure services. As we build and grow, we seek a high-energy individual to step into the Data Center Supplier Services & Business Operations team.
This role requires a thinker with a strategic vision and tactical prowess. We need you to identify gaps and communicate ideas, solutions, and concerns as well as mitigation plans for future process development, iterations, and the continuous improvement of them. You will be expected to recommend changes and support your positions on those changes using the data you report, along with juggling high levels of support for day to day operational needs.
You should have a strong business and data center background, a track record of fixing things, and a bias for action. Experience in the datacenter colocation is needed, along with experience in a fast-paced management environment, making quick decisions to remove blockers or risks to the business and the employees managed.
Candidate must be comfortable working across remote teams and possess the ability to compartmentalize tasks to separate and manage exceptions differently from the normal day-to-day. Keeping calm in chaos is key, along with team collaboration with all!
About the Role
Supplier Services drives and supports the OCI’s Colo-supplier program. As OCI continues to scale, it becomes increasingly important that we efficiently and effectively manage our Colo supply-base. The Supplier Management Services Program Manager is a critical role that drives strategic initiatives & continuous improvement as well as provides timely support to key internal stakeholders in Datacenter Operations, Datacenter Engineering, Site Selection and others.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Managing supplier performance for all colocation data centers accountable for globally
Managing relationships with current suppliers to ensure that they meet the data center's needs and expectations
Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues or concerns
Managing relationship with current suppliers to ensure that they meet the data center’s needs and expectations per contracted terms
Contract management
Developing and implementing supplier management strategies and policies
Collaborating with other departments and teams within the data center to ensure the supplier services align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives
Driving efficiencies with automation to enable business scale
Service level agreements with colocation suppliers are adhered to, conducting executive business reviews, and managing internal customer support to provide top-notch experiences
Effective reporting and executive write-ups
Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency
Collaborating with other departments such engineering, field operations, procurement, and finance to ensure the company's overall goals are met
Ticket Management deliverables, ensuring the timely resolution of customer and supplier issues
Monitoring performance metrics: This includes tracking key performance indicators and analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Developing and implementing operational processes and procedures: This includes identifying areas for improvement and creating standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Communications for standard daily business needs, newsletters, status updates and executive write ups, business meeting content build outs
Problem solving and providing input and support to manager to unblock on business and project critical needs
Team - must be a team player and be able to work solely
Must be extremely flexible and be good at embracing and shifting direction with high levels of change often
Qualifications
8+ years of program management/fast paces operational support experience. Preferably in datacenter/ IT enterprise organization.
Degree in business, operations, supply chain, engineering or a related work experience
Solid operational support and project management skills, proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
Demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically across various levels within the organization. Ability to apply independent and sound business judgment to solve complex issues.
Innovative, self-directed and has the ability to influence key stakeholders. Team player that is able to work with remote and/or globally dispersed teams.
Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through internal and external, organizations and individuals. Demonstrated ability to achieve results through cross-functional, virtual teams.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
