About the Customer Service Pharmacy Tech
Upperline Health is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Pharmacy Tech who is excited to provide exceptional customer service to our patients and execute on day-to-day pharmacy operations. A starting technician will be expected to answer phones, follow up with patients, process credit card payments and ship medications in a timely manner. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your customer service skill set and gain a lot of hands-on pharmacy logistics experience.
What You’ll Do
Perform customer service duties within the pharmacy including answering the phone, contacting patients, following up on orders, processing payments and shipping medications
Develop relationships with our patient population and ensure all their needs are met
Consistently provide exceptional customer service with all patients featuring an empathetic, compassionate, and professional demeanor with each interaction
Value serving as a dedicated, reliable, punctual, and hard-working team player
Exhibit self-motivation and a high degree of organizational skills to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Ability to become quickly proficient with the software systems used in our pharmacy
Qualifications of the Customer Service Pharmacy Tech
One year of customer service or pharmacy technician experience is preferred
Proficient with Information Technology, especially basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Tenacious problem solver, with demonstrated capacity to embrace complex problems and arrive at effective solutions in a timely manner
Enjoys working in a team-based environment with active collaboration
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, crouch and carry up to 40 pounds over short distances
Bilingual English - Spanish is preferred
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate to compensation for the similar positions in the region and based on
prior training and experience
COVID-19 considerations: We are a closed-door pharmacy. Our staff does not have increased exposure.
