Aimbridge Hospitality Concierge Manager in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Summary

The Concierge Manager manages on-site customer service to guests of a hotel resort or similar establishment. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

Exempt managers must customarily and regular direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents. Primary duties must consist of administrative executive or professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time and job duties must also involve the use of discretion and independent judgement more than 50 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Typically requires a high school diploma and at least 6 years of experience.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.

  • Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.

  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.

  • Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting strategic planning and procedural change.

  • Leadership skills. Management skills. Ability to foster teamwork.

  • Customer service skills. Accounting skills. Time management skills.

  • Interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet guests and provide assistance throughout their stay.

  • Address inquiries regarding facility services and amenities.

  • Offer directions recommend restaurants/attractions and make reservations or travel arrangements as requested.

  • Submit inventory orders to ensure basic amenities are maintained.

  • May assist with guest check-in or check-out.

  • Train concierge staff members.

  • Develop schedules to ensure adequate services levels.

  • Resolve all guest complaints as necessary.
