SUMMARY:
The Select Business Unit (SBU) Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and servicing of specific accounts to meet a clients’ insurance needs. This position requires direct interaction with clients, Producers (if applicable), Marketing Department, insurance companies, finance companies and various departments within the HUB organization. P&C License is required. EPIC Knowledge helpful.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Gathering information from insured for new business or for updating renewals
Expiration/Timeline Coordination
Market new and renewal business
Enter New Business in EPIC
Update Renewal Applications in EPIC according to procedure
Compile Loss Summary
Complete supplemental applications
Compile information and obtain OCP, Builders’ Risk, and Flood Quotes (New Business)
Review New Business and Renewal quotes
Prepare premium comparisons
Prepare Proposals
Bind coverage with carrier
Prepare all forms to be signed
Set up EPIC suspense for follow up on all processes, including policy receipt and delivery
Complete ‘New/Renewal Procedures’ checklist
Review applications in system for accuracy
Review policies for accuracy using the ‘Policy Checklist’
Review contracts for insurance requirements and certificates
Troubleshoot problems with audits, accounts receivables, processing, coverage issues, etc.
Prepare New/Renewal certificate of insurance for issuance
Invoice all New/Renewal Agency Bill transactions as per guidelines
Invoice all other Agency Bill transactions as per guidelines
Back up to other SBU AM’s not in office as directed by Supervisor
Attend monthly AM meetings
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous Property & Casualty Commercial Lines experience preferred
Active Tennessee Property & Casualty license required or willingness to complete upon hire
Department Account Management & Service
Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Negligible
Required Education: High school or equivalent
