Position Summary

The Bridgestone Business Services (BBS) Business Operations Lead supports BBS Operations by overseeing the monitoring, analyzing, and reporting of operational process to ensure our function is complaint and has visibility to the progress of our operational and financial goals. In this role you will leverage operational, project management, people management skills, partnering cross functionally to design, implement, and improve related processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the process to track, monitor, and report on projected and realized savings.

  • Create, implement, and manage business case validation process.

  • Oversee headcount governance for BBS.

  • Ensure processes and tools are audited, updated, and compliant on an ongoing frequency.

  • Proactively address risks that may impact progress of our operational or financial goals.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various levels of users to co-create and continuously improve operational processes and ensure high quality data, metrics and reporting are produced.

  • Identifies opportunities to leverage tools, technology, and automation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 working years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience

  • Prior experience in project management

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
