Insight Global Benefits Specialist in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Description

  • Start time: 8-5 (7:30-4:30) - can be flexible

     - Hyrbid schedule after 1-2 weeks of training, during training there will be more onsite work

  • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.

  • Act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve issues and maintain effective communication.

  • Manage and update HRIS systems with employee benefit information.

  • Handle benefits-related queries and provide guidance on qualifying life events and general benefits information.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors and insurance companies for urgent updates

  • Participate in a small, dynamic team to support the benefit administration process.

-30% phone & 70% email (most calls are answering voicemails)

-Appeals, court orders and research type work & provide comprehensive answers

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

  • At least 2+ years of experience in benefits administration: Handle benefits-related queries, for ex: provide guidance on qualifying life events and general benefits information.

  • knowledge of HRIS systems.

-Local to Nashville, TN area and comfortable going into the office on a hybrid schedule (2 days/week)

  • Ability to work comfortably with different vendors and manage both internal and external insurance company interactions.

-Experience working with complex benefit plans (For example: Union, multiemployers plans, and unique situations with certain sites - not everyone has the same benefits, there are 3 medical plans & so some research will be required for every call to decipher which plan they have and how to answer that question)

-reliable, this is for a medical leave so we need a commitment to the contract length - College degree

  • Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms is

-Experience working remotely and using Teams & Zoom

-payroll, deduction and or HR experience null
