Kelly Services Benefits Coordinator - Long Term Contract in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Description

This position will be responsible for providing support, administration, and information regarding the day-to- day administration and operation of the clients Health & Welfare related plans; will work in partnership with the Benefits & Compliance Team, the Contact Center, and third party administrators to ensure a high level of service to clients plan participants. The successful candidate must have a passion for excellence and the ability to work successfully in a fast paced team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the administration of the benefit enrollment process to include explaining benefit options, mediating benefit eligibility issues, and general customer service for ensuring benefit plan

compliance.

  • Assist in the verification process of qualifying life events for mid-year benefit changes to include audit of benefit change requests and review of supporting documentation from Teammates.

  • Handle inquiries and discrepancies to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution for various Teammate benefit programs.

-Determine eligibility, approving cases based upon client policy to remain ERISA compliant.

-Working with outside vendors with discrepancies in data, researching to obtain a resolution.

-Assist in performing liaison functions with internal business partners and third-party vendors relative to coverage and eligibility data.

-Maintain records and procedures for benefit administration processes.

-Participate in the development of new policies, procedures, and programs as applicable.

-Generate benefits-related reports from HRIS system.

-Support benefit administration of Qualified Medical Child Support Orders.

-Support benefit administration of health and welfare benefit plans.

-Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3-5 years of experience in health & welfare benefits administration

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in fast paced changing environment

  • Full functional knowledge of Excel and MS Word
