Job Description:
At Regions, the Agriculture Banker focuses on delivery of credit and a broad range of product / service client solutions within a dedicated geographic area and targets agriculture clients with annual revenues between $1MM - $250MM.
Primary Responsibilities
Functions as the central delivery point to clients by executing relationship strategy and works with key business partners to engage expertise
Retains and expands high-value relationships while conducting client acquisition activity
Exhibits high-degree of credit acumen, partners successfully with credit and compliance partners and serves as part of the first line of defense in identifying and managing risk
Delivers knowledgeable advice and solutions, institutionalizes client relationships, and optimizes revenue opportunities to the Commercial Bank
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Seven (7) years experience in Commercial Banking or sales with at least five (5) years of Commercial Relationship Management or Agriculture Banker experience
Preferences
Relevant graduate degree
Previous Agriculture Banking experience

Strong ability to identify, prioritize and develop relationship strategy for high-value retention, expansion clients and acquisition targets
Strong ability to isolate current and emerging client needs / proactively introduce solutions
Strong ability to engage and lead relevant business partners in team-based portfolio development/ expertise delivery
Strong ability to plan and execute quality client / prospect calls
Strong ability to manage transaction processes from initial engagement through final close, including structure, pricing, internal approval / compliance processes and documentation
Strong ability to exercise credit acumen and pricing discipline
Ability to complete Agriculture Banker Process training
Ability to utilize skills learned through the Agriculture Banker Process training
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
