The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time and part-time Housepersons to join our lodging team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Hotel Houseperson, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning of hotel public areas, rooms, and restrooms in accordance with operating standards.
Pay
$15.25 - $16.00 / hour

Responsibilities
Notify managers if major repairs or additions to building operating systems are needed
Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors and steam clean carpets
Drive vans, industrial trucks, and other vehicles required to travel to or to perform cleaning work
Remove dirty linens and transport clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets
Qualifications
Limited to no experience required, minimum of 1 year working in the hospitality industry preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures
Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
Must have a valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, standing, and kneelingfor the entire length of the shift
Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete washing duties
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
Working conditions include being regularly exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals
