BAE Systems is looking for an Intern with prior experience using Salesforce that has an interest in the Business Development lifecycle, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) administration and development, and data management / data analysis. The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to assist in design and development of technical capabilities in support of all phases of the Business Development lifecycle.
Salesforce and BD admin responsibilities include support for the following areas:
Account Planning.
Identifying, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities.
Gathering, analyzing, and evaluating information collected on customers, competitors and other market factors that can contribute to a business's competitive advantage.
Building strategic customer engagement plans.
Develop compelling tactics while working as part of a team to come up with solutions and new pricing strategies.
Advancing and implementing technical capabilities to support various Business Development functions.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Currently enrolled (with good academic standing) and pursuing a BS/BA degree in Business or a technical degree with a Business minor or concentration or equivalent experience.
Experience using MS Office suite of programs (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Must be comfortable working independently, as well as part of a collaborative team in an often-virtual environment.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Salesforce and Admin Skills.
Experience with Data management and Analytics.
Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization software.
Prior experience with DoD and Business Development.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $39160 - $52910
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
