Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. This role is critical in ensuring the organization's financial accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a detail-oriented approach to managing financial processes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, in a timely manner.
• Oversee the general ledger to maintain accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct month-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and insights.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports and analyze financial trends.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and other key reports for stakeholders.
Requirements
• Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliation and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in handling account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and journal entry preparation.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
